Abstract:
PURPOSE: To stably carry developer at the time of carrying powder developer from a developing device to a latent image carrier and developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the latent image carrier irrespective of an image forming device setting direction.
CONSTITUTION: As to the image forming device for forming the latent image on a rotary endless latent image carrier 20 by latent image forming parts 21 and 22, developing the latent image with the powder developer by the developing part 23 and transferring the developed image to a sheet by a transfer part 24, the device is provided with a developing device setting part 6 for selectively setting the developing device 23 on the 1st relational position corresponding to a state where the device is vertically set and the 2nd relational position corresponding to a state where the device is horizontally set. And the developing device 23 is set on the 1st relational position when the device is vertically set, and the device 23 is set on the 2st relational position when the device is horizontally set.
