Title:
MIXER CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2551330
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To secure required frequency conversion gain over wide frequency bands while reducing the turn of a signal by respectively providing voltage controlled matching circuits on the output sides of respective narrow band amplifiers.
CONSTITUTION: A local oscillation frequency is designated by a frequency designation control part 8 and at the same time, a controlled voltage corresponding to this local oscillation frequency is impressed to respective voltage controlled matching circuits 3 and 6. As a result, a local oscillation circuit 4 is oscillated at this designated frequency, and a local oscillated signal is amplified by a narrow band amplifier 5 and inputted to a mixer part 7 after the impedance is optimumly matched by the voltage controlled matching circuit 6. On the other hand, a high frequency received signal inputted to an input terminal 1 is amplified by a narrow band amplifier 2 and inputted to the mixer part 7 after the impedance is optimumly matched by the voltage controlled matching circuit 6. Thus, frequency mixing is efficiently performed at the mixer part 7, and an intermediate frequency signal is outputted while keeping a required frequency conversion level.
