Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously excavate a small-diameter tunnel after a large-diameter tunnel is excavated by mounting an expandable cutter disk on a small-diameter drum member, and concentrically connecting a large-diameter drum member in the state where fixing can be released.
SOLUTION: An expandable cutter disk 2 is mounted on the front end partition wall 23 of a small-diameter front drum 6 by a movable spoke 13a, and a large-diameter front drum 3 and a large-diameter broken drum 21 are concentrically connected on the outside of a small-diameter front drum 6 and a small-diameter broken drum 28 in the state where fixing can be released. A large-diameter rear drum 5 is connected through a fixing mechanism 32 to the small-diameter broken drum 28, and curvature excavation is performed for the right and left directions by a shield jack 9 disposed on the small-diameter front drum 6 and a broken jack 30 to excavate a large-diameter tunnel Ta. When a small-diameter tunnel is excavated, the small-diameter rear drum is assembled on the rear end of the small-diameter broken drum 28 to be connected, and the large-diameter front drum 3, the large-diameter broken drum 21 and the large- diameter rear drum 5 are left in the ground to diameter-reduce the cutter disk 2 so as to perform excavation. Thus, the small-diameter tunnel can be continuously excavated.
