PURPOSE: To provide the subject detector sufficiently securing the distance between a standard member and the ground taking advantage of the vertically moving operation structure of a ground working device, and virtually free from fear of interference with the ground working device.
CONSTITUTION: In this detector equipped with (A) a vertically moving operation means M to vertically move, relative to a traveling vehicle body 5, over the range from the action position at which a standard member is stuck into the ground and the retreat position above, the standard member 1 stood in a stuck way into the ground corresponding to the target revolving center position, prior to the revolving movement from the terminal end of one working stroke toward the initial end of the next working stroke, along with connecting a ground working device to the traveling vehicle body 5 in a vertically movable way and (B) a revolving state detecting means, on the standard member 1, to detect the deviation of the vehicle body from its target movement locus around the target revolving center, a flexibly deformable elastic part 1d is provided midway of the standard member 1, and a part 1e below the elastic flexible part 1d is provided with a link mechanism 41 to make interlocking operation over the range between the action state in a vertical posture and the retreat state in a sideways posture, accompanied with the vertically moving operation of the ground working device 6.
