Abstract:
PURPOSE: To force an abnormality monitoring device in a remote control device for a high lift work vehicle to always monitor occurrence of abnormality in the remote control device, and make it capable of contributing to enhancement of safety by transmitting/receiving a recognition signal between upper and lower controllers at intervals of specified time, and clocking the elapsed time.
CONSTITUTION: A recognition signal of a specified waveform is continuously generated from recognition signal generating means provided in one side or both of an upper controller 2 and a lower controller 3 at intervals within specified time. Next, this recognition signal is transmitted to the receiving parts of controllers 3, 2 on the counter part side through transmitting parts, then the recognition signal is identified out of various information received and recognized by recognition signal recognizing means in the controllers 3, 2 on the counter part side, and the elapsed time from the point of time when the recognition signal is recognized is metered by a clocking means, and an abnormality judging means is forced to judge that abnormality has occurred in a remote control device when the elapsed time exceeds the specified time at the time when the recognition signal is generated.
