PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized roller contact device with increased current capacity.

CONSTITUTION: A front and a rear roller contact 4a, 4b are installed oppositely to make a bridge contact parts 1a, 2a of the first and the second parallelly installed stationary contact 1, 2 from the front and rear while sandwiching them. The front and rear roller contacts 4a, 4b are borne by a front and a rear roller contact supporting member 5a, 5b, respectively. A drive member 6 is installed extending between the first and second stationary contacts 1, 2 and bears the two roller contact supporting members 5a, 5b. Between these members, a contact pressure generating spring is set in tension.
