PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of an outer vestibule diaphragm even when deviation and rolling occur to a rolling stock by a method wherein a side plate of a flexible material spanning between the tip part of a moving part and the vicinity of the outside of the end surface of the rolling stock and the outer vestibule diaphragm having a spring energized in a direction in which the moving member is always spaced away from the end face are arranged facing the end face of the rolling stock.
CONSTITUTION: Outer vestibule diaphragms 6 and 7 are fixed in a protruding manner to the respective end faces of two rolling stocks 4 and 5. The base end part 9a of a moving member 9 is supported to a mounting plate 8 so as to be rotatable around a rotary pin 10, and a tip part 9b is brought into a freely movable state. A side plate 11 formed of a flexible material is formed in a plate-form shape having an area with a given width enough for prevention of the drop of a passenger and a given height. A press spring 13 is located in a compressed state between the base plate 8 and the moving member 9 and always energizes the moving member 9 in an opening state. When a rolling stock passes through a curved truck, the outer vestibule diaphragms 6 and 7 are folded inward against the force of the spring 13 on the side where a distance between the opposite end faces is decreased. When deviation occurs, the outer vestibule diaphragms 6 and 7 are contracted.
