Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0736144
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity for argon laser light by incorporating a specified silver chloride, chemically sensitizing with a selenium compd., etc., and moreover, spectrally sensitizing with a specified dye.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide emulsion contains ≥50mol% silver chloride and consists of silver halide grain containing at least one of rhodium, ruthenium and rhenium. This silver halide photographic sensitive material is chemically sensitized with at least one kind of selenium compd. and tellurium compd. and spectrally sensitized with a dye expressed by formula. in formula, Q represents atoms necessary to form a substd. or unsubstd. benzoxazole or thiazoline nucleus, R11 is an acid substd. or acid salt substd. alkyl group, R12 and R13 are alkyl groups or form an alkylene unit with the nitrogen atom bonded with R12 and R13 to form a heteroring, and L11-L14 are substd. or unsubstd. methine groups.
