Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure freedom from an overturn on the ground, allow the execution of a work at a place having an obstacle above as in a tunnel, and reduce the amount of a mixture of excavated soil overflowing to the ground and a consolidating material even at a large depth.
CONSTITUTION: A device body 3 is suspended from the ground, using a linear member 1 such as a wire, a chain and a length of links, and completely inserted in the subsoil for upward or downward motion therein. Furthermore, the device body 3 is provided with an excavation means 4 for drilling the subsoil, a drive means 5 for actuating the excavation means 4, a consolidating material injection section 6 for blowing a consolidating material, and an agitation means 7 for agitating and mixing excavated sediment and the consolidating material. Also, a consolidating material supply hose 9 is provided for feeding the consolidating material to the injection section 6 of the drive body 3 from the ground.
