Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a paraglider which can glide safely without causing crush or bending in its canopy even if it is subjected to strong lateral wind.
CONSTITUTION: A beam 8 is provided in the longitudinal direction of a canopy 2 of a parachute glider 1. With the ends 8a, 8b both ends 2b, 2c of the canopy 2 are engaged, respectively or otherwith a suspension line 3b from the canopy 2 is divided into two groups and the lower ends are fixed to the respective ends. The longitudinal rigidity of the canopy 2 is reinforced accordingly to increase the resistance against force in the direction.
