PURPOSE: To provide a method for preventing occurrence of misselecting an IC carrier among measured results, as for unloading method for taking out a measured IC to an IC carrier from an unloader part of an IC measurement autohandler.
CONSTITUTION: IC carriers 5A-5C are provided with through holes 6 which serve as labelling for identifying measured results and each of which differs in position, and unloader parts 4A-4C are provided with photosensors 7 serving as identifying means to identify the labellings. When the unloader parts 4A-4C where ICs are to be taken out are connected to an IC carrying means, the identifying means 7 of the unloader parts 4A-4C identifies the labellings of the IC carrying means, and an IC is deliverd to the IC carrier from the unloader parts 4A-4C, only when the labelling matches with the classification of the unloader parts 4A-4C. A labelling can be replaced with a bar code so that a bar code reader is used as an identifying means.
