Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a medium having excellent oxidation resistance by constituting a recording film of specified film thickness. CONSTITUTION:The recording film 3 for recording is formed on a substrate 1 to constitute the recording medium, and the recording film 3 has a column-like structure. The total thickness (a) of the recording film 3, thickness (b) of the part having no column-like structure in the recording film 3, and thickness (c) of the column-like structure have the relation of b/a>=0.7. By making the part of column-like structure thinner, the film can be made dense and uniform. Thereby, the obtd. medium has excellent oxidation resistance of the recording film and information can be stored for a long time.
