Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prolong the service life by protecting a furnace wall refractory and an ore receiving metal at furnace top part in a blast furnace from high temp. combustion gas produced in the blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas produced in the blast furnace is water-washed and dust-removed, and after passing B gas recycled in a firm through a pressure raising equipment (device) 5, in the condition of raising the pressure to higher pressure than the pressure in the furnace at the blowing position, B gas at the room temp. is blown onto the back surfaces of the furnace wall part 8 and the ore receiving metal part 7 at the furnace top part in the blast furnace, and the parts 7 and 8 are cooled.
