Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an ID card wherein read of a necessary matter can be performed from a long-distance, read can be performed, as the ID card is carried in user's pocket, without taking out the ID card and even in the case where magnetic data is damaged, confirmation capacity capable of taking out normally the necessary data is improved.

CONSTITUTION: A circular recessed place 2 having the fixed diameter and a depth shallower than a thickness of a card main body is provided on the card main body 1, which is formed of a resin and provided with physical characteristics such as a specified size, thickness, tensile strength and shock strength as provided by the JIS standard (X6301) and bending strength coming up to the standard of a bending test as provided by the ISO standard, on an arbitary position except for a part where embossing processing is performed. Then, a transmission chip 3 transmitting data stored beforehand as a radio wave signal when the radio wave signal is received from the outside is fitted into the recessed place, which is coated with a film 4 made of resin.
