Title:
NAP-RAISED WARP KNIT FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008280650
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a nap-raised warp knit fabric of which needle loop surface is nap-raised, capable of clearly drawing an uneven pattern or a printed pattern, excellent in abrasion resistance, without forming pilling on using it as a chair-covering fabric, etc., and also capable of being used as a stock fabric of an artificial leather by applying a resin composition or an adhesive on its pile surface.

This nap-raised warp knit fabric is provided by making the sinker loop 31 of a front yarn 11 knitted by a front reed as multiple needle swings and the sinker loop 32 of a back yarn 12 knitted by a back reed as a single needle swing to knit the nap-raised warp knit fabric by the 2 reeds of the front reed and back reed, raising more nap on the needle loop 21 of the front yarn 11 than that on the needle loop 22 of the back yarn by raising the nap on the sinker loop surface and then raising the nap on the needle loop surface to form a pile layer on the needle loop surface. By using a highly heat shrinkable fiber as the back yarn 12, and mix-using the highly heat shrinkable fiber and a lowly heat shrinkable fiber as the front yarn 11, it is preferable to heat-shrink the highly heat shrinkable fiber before the nap-rising.
