PURPOSE: To obtain a natural-gas superheater with which a stable operation is possible even under low-load conditions by introducing a natural gas discharged from a vaporizer and an LPG for calorie control into an upper part of a plate fin type heat exchanger and discharging the mixed gas from a lower part thereof.
CONSTITUTION: This superheater comprises a plate fin type heat exchanger which has in an upper part thereof a header for introducing a natural gas discharged from a vaporizer and has in a lower part thereof a header for discharging a natural gas having a regulated calorie to the consumption side, and to the upper part of which an injection tube for injecting an LPG for calorie control has been connected. Calorie control with a conventional superheater in which a vaporized natural gas discharged from a vaporizer and an LPG are introduced into a lower part of a plate fin type heat exchanger is unstable, because part of the LPG gravitationally descends under low-load conditions. In contrast, this superheater enables a stable operation due to the introduction into an upper part and the discharge from a lower part.
