Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation device and navigation of an artificial satellite, that can be used for a target that is located at close to long distance by suppressing the deterioration of a positional measurement accuracy.
SOLUTION: A GPS receiver 5, a communication part 6 for communicating with another machine mounting the GPS receiver, self machine absolute navigation part 9 and another machine absolute navigation part 10 for estimating the position of the self machine or another machine and the bias and drift between a receiver clock, a part 11 for calculating the amount of difference between the position and speed from the output of the own machine absolute navigation part 9 and the another machine absolute navigation part 10, and a relative navigation part 12 for estimating the relative position and speed of the own machine for another machine are provided. The part 11 for calculating the amount of difference outputs the amount of difference that is converted to the constituent display of a coordinates system with the track of another machine as a reference in the part 11 for calculating the amount of difference, the relative navigation part 12 performs relative navigation based on the output, and a relative position and the amount of difference of the relative position and relative speed is calculated, even when the number of commonly visible GPS satellites is less than 4, thus updating the estimated value of the relative position and relative speed at all times.
