PURPOSE: To provide a navigation device for moving body capable of regularly precisely providing stable position information.
CONSTITUTION: A determined error range is calculated by an error range data arithmetic means 5a according to a satellite navigation position, the road data present within the error range is extracted and stored, and the candidate position of a moving body on a road is determined by an evaluation function value arithmetic means 5b according to the extracted road data to calculate an evaluation function value. The on-road positions from the best evaluation function value to a determined lower order are calculated to specify the on-road position. For the position data to be estimated, the integrated error at selfnavigation is compared with the error range at radio navigation to provide precise and stable position information.
