Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily extend a representation form of a landmark in comparison to prior ones, and as a result enable application of the landmark to other uses.
SOLUTION: The landmark 803 is normally displayed (displayed in a static state) in a display screen 801 in an navigation device. In the display screen 804, the landmark 803 is highlighted (displayed in a dynamic state). Both landmarks 803 are displayed on the basis of landmark information 802. To be specific, the normal display of the landmark is performed on the basis of shape information 815 and positional information 816 in the landmark information, and the highlighting is performed on the basis of a highlighting execute file 817. In the latter, a command group described in the highlighting execute file 817 is interpreted and executed for providing a predetermined movement in the landmark.
