Abstract:
To provide an NC machine tool having a turning shaft capable of using a vertical shaft and an inclined shaft in common without receiving the restriction of a stroke and performing the measurement of a tool and the alignment and truing between a workpiece and a tool easily when using the inclined shaft.
This NC machine tool in which a main spindle unit having a plurality of control shafts and a main spindle serves as the vertical shaft and the inclined shaft is provided with a turn mechanism part having a turning shaft supporting the main spindle unit so as to turn on a vertical face. The center of turn of the turning shaft is set on a central line of the tool and in the vicinity of a tip of the tool.
