PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a surface irregularity in a workpiece by setting a block division point off the front and rear parts of each corner of the workpiece by the predetermined fine distance and operating the feed speed of a machining device at the corner part on the basis of the aforesaid division point.
CONSTITUTION: A machining program entered via an external input machine 11 is read with a read part 12 and a fine block division setting part 13 sets a block division point off the front and rear parts of each corner of a workpiece by the predetermined fine distance. Then, an operation part 14 operates the feed speed of a machining device at the corner part on the basis of a fine block divided with the block division point and the feed speed of the machining device at a shift instruction block in the machining program. According to the results of the operation, a control part 15 controls the servomotor 19 of a machining feed device. Consequently, a feed speed is not reduced at other areas than the vicinity of the corner part and machining efficiency can be improved. At the same time, it becomes possible to prevent the occurrence of a machining irregularity on the surface of a workpiece.
