Abstract:

To provide a needle valve capable of preventing generation of noise of high frequency of the audible wavelength band.

The needle valve 1 comprises a valve casing 10 and a valve element 30. A valve port 24 having a valve port 12 is provided on the valve casing 10. The valve element 30 is attached/detached to/from the valve port 24 to change the opening. A flow rate adjusting part 33 of the valve element 30 is tapered. The ratio L1/D is 3.5-5.0, when the angle is over 0 and 45, where denotes the angle formed by the flow rate adjusting part 33 at the section passing through the axis of the valve element 30, D denotes the inside diameter of the valve port 12, and L1 denotes the overall length of the valve port 12 in the axial direction.
