Abstract:
To provide a new nerve cell-protecting agent having high nerve cell-protecting activities and excellent safetiness.
The nerve cell-protecting agent contains a rosemary extract as an active ingredient. The nerve cell-protecting agent has cell protrusion-elongating activities and acetylcholine release-promoting activities on the nerve cell, and additionally can achieve high safetiness. The medicinal composition obtained by mixing the nerve cell-protecting agent with a pharmacologically acceptable additive, the cosmetic composition and the food obtained by mixing the composition with a food raw material are also provided.
