A network configuration retrieving part 2 confirms the presence of objective equipment of a network by a ping command response to the equipment, stores, as response result data 3A, the results of the confirmation in a database part 3, acquires the SNMP information from the equipment, and stores the information as search result data 4A including the presence or absence of the acquisition in a database part 4. A network configuration analysis part 5 analyzes the response result data 4A and retrieval search result data 4A, and classifies the possibilities of presence, for each equipment, according to the response and the presence or absence of the acquisition of the SNMP information. For the equipment acquiring the SNMP information, a connection relation according thereto is set up, and for the equipment not acquiring the SNMP information, the connection relation is set up in consideration also of the other information such as IP addresses.
