Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user device and a base station that can perform both cellular communication (radio communication between a user terminal and a base station) and end-to-end (device-to-device: D2D) communication.SOLUTION: If a terminal identifier for D2D communication, which is direct end-to-end communication between user terminals, is set, a user terminal transmits a buffer status report (BSR) indicating the amount of transmittable data in a buffer related to the D2D communication to a base station, and the base station allocates radio resources for D2D communication on the basis of the BSR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
