Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable players of game terminals connected to different game servers to play games in a shared game space by storing information on appearing characters in different parts of a game data storing area of each game server in accordance with distances between the players and their game servers.
SOLUTION: Information on appearing characters are stored in different parts of a game data storing area 305 of each game server in accordance with distances between players and their game servers. That is, the same server game data storing area 3054 stores information on the characters which are operated by the payers connected to the same game server. A storing area 3055 which stores other server game data on the same LAN stores information on the characters which are operated by the players connected to other game servers of the same LAN. Then a storing area 3056 which stores other server game data on LANs stores information on the characters which are operated by the players connected to other game servers of LANs.
