Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent undesired charging and to improve the performance of the network monitor system by controlling automatic back up to other line by a MODEM in the network monitor depending on a monitor schedule time.
SOLUTION: A network monitor 6 has a function of controlling centralizingly a backup state by each MODEM 3 and is provided with a monitor schedule file 6A, a backup MODEM file 6B, a monitor object time discrimination section 6C, a backup release command output section 6D and a backup connection command output section 6E. Based on the monitor schedule of the file 6A, when a current time is discriminated at the outside of the monitor object time, the output section 6D sends a backup release command to the MODEM 3, and when the current is discriminated within the monitor object time, the output section 6F sends a backup connection command to the MODEM.
