Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable exact online debugging without performing complicated works such as the addition or deletion of an off-line switch in a user program, preparing the copy of a system under operating and moreover without affecting an FA system under operating at present or user program after the completion of debugging.
SOLUTION: In a network unit for programmable controller network capable of two-way data communication between respective programmable controllers, any one of online mode and debugging mode is selectively set, data are received/ transmitted as normal with another station in the online mode but in the debugging mode, even if the transmission right of data is acquired, data are not transmitted or the data transmission right is abandoned, so that the debugging of the user program ca be performed in an online state without affecting the other stations.
