PURPOSE: To enhance the neutralization capacity and clogging resistance of the titled apparatus, by forming a gap between the bottom part of a neutralization treatment tank and a fluid guide plate having communication property and storing a basic substance above the fluid guide plate while flooding acidic water from the lower part.
CONSTITUTION: Water supplied from a water supply pipe 7 is subjected to heat exchange in the drum part of a primary heat exchanger 9 and, thereafter, receives heat exchange by a latent heat type heat exchanger 10 and further receives heat exchange in the fin part of the primary heat exchanger 9 to be converted to hot water which is, in turn, issued from a hot water supply arranged pipe 8. In this case, acidic dew condensation water, in which carbon dioxide or nitrogen oxide in combustion exhaust gas is dissolved, is generated to the surface of the latent heat type heat exchanger 10 for recovering latent heat contained in combustion exhaust gas. This acidic dew condensation water is collected in a recovery part 11 and neutralized with the basic substance of the neutralization tank 14 provided to an exhaust passage 12 and discharged out of the main body from an outflow port 12'.
