Abstract:
To provide a neutron capture therapy system which appropriately performs discrimination regardless of deterioration of a detector, accordingly enables an operator to easily determine that wave height distribution is appropriate, and a neutron beam detection device.SOLUTION: A wave height distribution adjusting part 23 detects a peak due to a neutron beam N in a wave height distribution, and when the wave height μ at the peak deviates from the predetermined range, adjusts the entire wave height distribution by enlarging or reducing in the energy direction so that the wave height μat the peak is within the predetermined range. Further, in the adjusted wave height distribution, the detection signal of the wave height exceeding the determination threshold value xis discriminated as a signal related to the neutron beam N. Thereby, even if the peak height μ deviates due to deterioration of a neutron beam detection device 12 that detects the neutron beam N, the wave height distribution adjustment unit 23 can adjust the pulse height distribution so as to eliminate the deviation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
