Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new polymer, having a specific structure and capable of providing a cured epoxy resin, having low dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent characteristics and excellent in moisture resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The objective aryl ester adduct conjugated diene-based copolymer of the formula X-A1-O-A2 [X is homopolymer of a 4-10C conjugated diene, a copolymer of two or more conjugated dienes or a copolymer using other vinyl monomers in combination; A1 is bivalent aromatic group selected from formulas I to IV, etc.; A2 is formula V; R1 and R2 are alkyl of CH3, C2H5 or C3H7; (n) is 0-21, e.g. a diene-based polymer in which X is polybutadiene; A1 is phenylene; A2 is phenyl.
