Abstract:
To provide a method for sterilizing a powdery form glucocorticosteroid, sterile glucocorticosteroid, sterile formulation containing glucocorticosteroid, and use thereof for treating an allergic and/or inflammatory condition of the nose or lungs.
Therapeutically acceptable glucocorticosteroids except fluticasone, prednacindone, dexamethasone and prednisolone and salts, esters and fluoro derivatives thereof are provided. The glucoadrenocorticosteroids are sterile according to the US Pharmacopeia 23/NF18.
