Abstract:
To provide a new compound which becomes an intermediate useful for synthesis of a hydroxy group-containing fluoroalkylvinyl ether and a method for producing the new compound.
The new compound is represented by the general formula: CF3COOCH2CFXCF2OSO2F (wherein X is a fluorine atom or a trifluoromethyl group). The new compound is produced by reacting trifluoroacetic acid, tetrafluoroethylene or hexafluoropropene with a formaldehyde-generating source compound and fluorosulfuric acid.
