To obtain a new peptide compound designed based on intracellular carboxy terminal sequence of a cell membrane receptor and having activity to control the function of a receptor.
This peptide has activity controlling cell membrane receptor function in which amino acid sequence having intercellular carboxy terminal is represented by the formula; A1-A2-A3 and has at least three amino acid sequences in length direction and has a carboxy terminal sequence of the formula; X-Y-Z (X is A1 or an amino acid belonging to the same class as A1; Y is an L-amino acid or glycine; Z is A3 or an amino acid belonging to the same class). A derivative of the peptide improved in its biological stability, cell membrane permeability or the above control activity and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt are provided. Further, the pharmaceutical composition containing the compound, a receptor using the compound or a method for analyzing function of C terminal of the receptor and further, a method for controlling signal of the cell membrane receptor and a method for treating diseases concerning signal transmission of the cell membrane receptor are provided.
