Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the a new having an arterial relaxation action and an angiotensin transferase-inhibiting action and useful as an antihypertensive agent, and to provide the method for producing the same.
CONSTITUTION: The new peptide is represented by H-Phe-Arg-Ala-Asp-His-Pro- Phe-Leu-OH, is produced by hydrolyzing albumen ovalbumin with pepsin, and may be used as its composition as such or, if necessary, after purified on its practical use. The peptide can also be produced by a conventional peptide synthesis method.
