Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a polypeptide useful for thrombolysis comprising a specific amino acid sequence, and having raised coagulation specificity, a longer half-life, reduced bond to an inhibitory substance and/or higher protein dissolving activity.
CONSTITUTION: This polypeptide is shown by formula I (tPA1-524 is a human mature tissue plasminogen activator comprising 524 amino acids; B is any of amino acid sequence of formula II to formula III) and other sensitive variants and derivatives shortened or extended by ≤6 amino acids at an N end and/or a C end of B.
