Abstract:

To greatly improve a speed of response to gas while maintaining large NOx sensitivity characteristics to a Cr based metal oxide.

A detecting electrode 2 on a zirconia solid electrolyte body 1 of the sensor is constituted of a dispersed mixed phase substance of a composite metal oxide phase and a Cr2O3 phase with having Cr as a constitutive element.
