Abstract:
To provide a noble metal catalyst having a novel functional group selectivity in a reductive reaction, also provide a reduction method having a novel functional group selectivity, and further provide a method for producing a compound that performs a reduction reaction having a novel functional group selectivity.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a noble metal catalyst in which a noble metal is carried on a carrier with polyethyleneimine immobilized on a porous particle. The present invention provides a reduction method that performs a reduction reaction using the noble metal catalyst.
