Abstract:
To provide a noise suppressor employing a spectral subtraction method that calculates a noise coefficient not consecutive for each frequency band signal to decrease deterioration in sound quality.
A noise suppression processing section 23 that calculates the noise coefficient for each frequency band in the noise suppressor 20, calculates a mean amplitude and a mean estimate noise amplitude of an input signal and compares them to set the noise amplitude for each frequency band signal and calculates the noise coefficient based on the amplitude calculated for each frequency band signal and the noise amplitude.
