Abstract:

To provide a non-asbestos friction material capable of suppressing an ME phenomenon and a fade phenomenon.

The non-asbestos friction material contains a non-asbestos fiber base material, a binder, a filler and a friction-regulating material. The friction material is free from graphite, molybdenum, or a lubricating agent of the graphite and the molybdenum, and contains bismuth oxide as an oxide.
