An indicator 25 notifies the state of the power supply device to a user. In particular, the user knows that nothing is placed on a power feeding plane through a lit LED 27a. The user also knows that a power receiver or the like is placed on the power feeding plane through lit LED 27b and 27c, or that the power supply device recognizes the existence of the power receiver. The user also knows that there is a foreign matter such as metal between the power supply device and the power receiver through lit LED 27d. The user further knows that power supply coils are being supplied with the power through lit LEDs 28a-28x.
