Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-woven cloth for hook-and-loop fastener by a simple manufacturing method, which shows good bio-decomposing characteristic, excels in the bonding strength, and exhibits a good anti-napping characteristic even after repetitive mounting and removal, with which the troublesomeness associated with a conventional manufacturing process such that a base cloth and a cloth piece having pile loops are prepared individually and are adhered together is well avoided.
SOLUTION: Long fibers having a latent wind-shrink property are formed from bio-decomposing thermoplastic polymerizes having different thermos-shrinking characteristics, and a non-woven web formed from these long fibers is partially subjected to a hot pressure contacting process so that an intended shape is established. The obtained object is subjected to a slackening heat treatment at a temp. lower than the melting point of the component among the polymerizes whose melting point is the lowest so that the latent wind-shrink of the long fibers in the non-hot pressure contacting region 3 is made apparent, and thus, loops 4 in a fold form are produced. Each loop 4 is furnished with at least two minor folds 5, and thus an intended non- woven cloth for bio-decomposing hook-and-loop fastener is attained.
