Title:
NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6129072
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the moldability of a positive electrode black mix, reduce the internal resistance of a cell, and improve the discharge characteristic of a cell, and improve the discharge characteristic by specifying the grain size of graphite in the positive electrode black mix made of lead bismuthate and graphite.

CONSTITUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte cell is formed with a negative electrode active material made of an alkali metal such as lithium and a positive electrode black mix using lead bismuthate as a positive electrode active material and containing 0.05∼2wt% of graphite against the positive electrode black mix quantity as a conductive agent. In this case, the grain size of graphite in the positive electrode black mix is specified to 2∼30μ. The moldability of the positive electrode black mix is improved by using the graphite specified for its grain size. In addition, the internal resistance of the cell is reduced, thus its discharge characteristic can be improved.
