To provide a noncontact type joint angle measuring system capable of measuring a joint angle for a joint varied in response to motion of arm fingers, under a condition noncontact with a body portion.
This measuring system 1 is provided mainly with an imaging part 5 for imaging the fingers H of a human being to acquire a shape data 3 of the fingers, and capable of sensing the motion of the fingers H, a signal processing control part 7 connected to the imaging part 5 to signal-conversion-process the acquired shape data 3 and a motion detection signal 6 concerned in the motion of the detected finger H, and a processing control part 2 constituted to include a computer main body 8 for receiving the signal-processed shape data 3 and motion detection signal 6 from the signal processing control part 7, a display 9 and a key board 10. A 3D model generated based on the shape data 3 is controlled to be interlocked with the motion of the fingers H, so as to measure the individual joint angles of the 3D model varied in response to the control.
