To provide a noncontact wheel tread adhesion increasing activator capable of securing performance at low speed by adding a magnetic path switched by simultaneously using an electric field of a permanent magnet and a high-frequency electric field of an electromagnet, and of obtaining a high adhesive force on a wheel tread when increasing speed (powering).
The noncontact wheel tread adhesion increasing activator comprises the permanent magnet 3 arranged so as to face to a tread of an iron wheel 1, an electromagnet 4 arranged so as to act against the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 3, and a magnetic wire brush 8. The magnetic path is comprised of the magnetic filed of the permanent magnet 3 and a magnetic power attached to the magnetic wire brush 8. The magnetic path is switched by simultaneously using the magnetic field of the electromagnet 4, and added to the magnetic path. The tread of the iron wheel 1 is heated by electromagnetic induction. Kinematic viscosity of a water film is reduced by indirectly heating the water film on the tread surface of the iron wheel 1. Accordingly, the increased adhesive force is increased.
