Abstract:
To provide a non-destructive evaluation technology capable of evaluating an embrittlement factor formed in a metal material in a non-destructive manner.SOLUTION: A non-destructive evaluation method of the present embodiment includes a step of evaluating an embrittlement factor due to neutron irradiation embrittlement in a metal material based on a change in a physical property value of the metal material. Thus, the embrittlement factor formed in the metal material can be evaluated in a non-destructive manner, and the number density of solute atom clusters and dislocation loops can be evaluated without damaging a test piece.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
