Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title woven fabric useful as sheet for patch, etc., having sufficiently high strength in longitudinal and lateral directions and excellent dimensional stability by laminating specific filament web to short fiber web, entangling and integrating the filament with the fibers by high-pressure water flow.

CONSTITUTION: Filament web prepared by spun bond method having piling speed of filament (Vf)/advance speed of conveyor (Vn)≥1.1 is laminated to web prepared by using short fibers and card method having ≤1.0 coefficient of orientation and the laminate is entangled and integrated by high-pressure water flow to give the aimed nonwoven fabric comprising the filaments and the short fibers mutually entangled an integrated and having 1.3-4 ratio of lateral elongation and longitudinal elongation.
