PURPOSE: To stably obtain the title high-quality nonwoven fabric by setting slit widths, set packs and jetting pressure of hot gas laid at left and right sides of die nose unsymmetrically with respect to left and right of the die nose and pulling and thinning a molten polymer.
CONSTITUTION: In spinning a molten polymer by using a spinning die 1 equipped with a die nose 4 having an orifice 9 to deliver a molten polymer and symmetric slits 10a and 10b at left and right of the die nose, first, slit widths L1 and L2, set packs H1 and H2 and/or jetting pressure P1 and P2 of hot gas jetted from the slits formed at the left and right of the die nose are set unsymmetrically with respect to the left and right of the die nose, the molten polymer is pulled and thinned and further melt blown fibers are collected in a state of nonwoven fabric to give the aimed high-quality and elegant nonwoven fabric while preventing occurrence of polymer balls.
