To provide an exceptionally compact normal-reverse pushbutton switch excellent in operability, by materializing a structure wherein the switch is not operated unless either one of normal or reverse pushbuttons and one more operating button are pushed in order to further enhance safety, although it is not mechanically possible to push two pushbuttons at the same time due to a mechanical interlock, in this two point type normal-reverse pushbutton switch with the mechanical interlock.
This normal-reverse pushbutton switch is structured so that a normal turn operating part, a reverse turn operating part, and a shift operating part to be pushed with either one of the operating parts at the same time are disposed so as to form a dog leg shape against the operating surface, and the normal turn operating part and the reverse turn operating part are prevented from being closed in at the same time by an interlocking plate. In this structure, the shift operating part is perpendicularly provided at the central position on a centerline connecting the normal turn operating part and the reverse turn operating part.
