PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a note processing system which can speedily and exactly discriminate whether notes are true or not together with the collection of them and further unnecessitates the collection processing of notes, terminal equipment and a host device to be used for this system.
SOLUTION: Terminal equipment 2 on the side of shop performs the on-line transmission of read ticket number to a host device 3 on the side of issue source and the host device 3 collates the received ticket number and transmits the result to the side of terminal equipment 2. Thus, it can be speedily and exactly known on the side of shop whether these notes are proper or not, the reception of false notes can be prevented, and damage on the side of shop or issue source can be reduced. Further, labor for the side of shop to return notes to the side or issue source or for the side of issue source to visit shops around for collecting notes can be omitted.
